3 Don t forget to grab your Graduation bear! , framing and plaques at gown and ticket collectionProfessional Graduation portrait sessions, frames and plaques will be available when you collect your academic dress and tickets. You re welcome to bring family and friends for a photography ses-sion! 4 If you decide not to attend the ceremony your Graduation option must be changed in Enrolment Online. If your Graduation option is changed no later than Thursday 8 December 2022 and your RMIT account has no other outstanding fees you will be eligible for a refund of your Graduation you no longer have access to Enrolment Online or need more information, please contact us via RMIT Student Connect at and ticket collectionYou need to collect your academic dress and tickets before the Graduation ceremony. This is also an opportunity to have your professional photo taken with family and friends and get your framing and commemorative plaque sure you bring your RMIT student card (or other photo ID and student number).

5 Venue, dates and times to collect your academic dress and ticketsWhere: Marvel Stadium, Victory Room, Gate 9, Level 1 When: DSC: Wednesday 7 December 9am to 7pm STEM: Thursday 8 December 9am to 7pm B&L, VE and PhDs: Friday 9 December 9am to 7pmAcademic dressAll graduating students wear traditional academic dress including a gown, coloured hood/stole and a mortarboard/bonnet. RMIT University s academic dress is based on the Oxford gown styles and colours represent the program you ve completed. 6 RMIT seat ticketA hard copy RMIT seat ticket will be issued to you when you collect your academic dress. The seat ticket displays your presentation stage letter, row and seat : You must have this ticket to register when you arrive at your presentation stage on the day of the if I can t attend on the date allocated to my college?If you can t attend your allocated gown and ticket date, a proxy (friend or family member) can attend for you. They just need to show a picture of your student card, or a picture of other photo ID plus an email which shows your student , you (or a proxy) can attend one of the late collection dates.

Arrive at the stadium and enter at your allocated gate. Arrive wearing your academic dress. Register and be seated at your presentation stage on the arena. 3 5pm Graduation do I sit?

8 There will be 21 presentation stages located on the arena. You will be seated on one of these stages together with students from your school. Your stage and seat number will be displayed on the front of your RMIT seat : You must be seated at your correct stage and seat number for the presentation and collection of your RMIT Graduation do my guests sit?Guests will be seated in the stands facing their graduate s stage. Guests are not permitted to be seated with the of Graduation scrollOn stage, you will doff (slightly lift your hat to acknowledge the presenter there will be no hand shakes), then be presented with an RMIT Graduation scroll.

9 Your name and program will appear on a large screen as you are presented. Once you ve been presented, you will be directed to return to your seat. Students graduating on the day of the ceremony will collect their hard copy Graduation certificate on the way back to their seat. Alumni who have already graduated in absentia will not be given a hard copy certificate on the day as they have had the opportunity to order their certificate via photo at the ceremonyA photo will be taken of you when you are presented with your Graduation scroll on stage. This can be purchased 48 hours after the ceremony through Reed will also be taking candid photographs and video footage at the ceremony.

10 Your image may be used in RMIT printed and electronic publications for promotional and educational purposes. These photographs will be available on from the end of February and beverage outletsFood and beverage outlets will be available at the stadium.
