1 CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF CITY PLANNING ZONING INFORMATION FILE Effective Date: January 16, 2005 NO. 2336 MIRACLE mile COMMUNITY DESIGN OVERLAY district (CDO) COUNCIL district : 4 COMMENTS: On January 16, 2005, Ordinance No. 176,331 became effective establishing the MIRACLE mile COMMUNITY DESIGN OVERLAY district (CDO). INSTRUCTIONS: No permit shall be issued for the erection, construction, addition to, or exterior structural alterations of any building or structure, including, but not limited to signage including, pole signs and/or monument signs located in the COMMUNITY DESIGN OVERLAY district , prior to obtaining written clearance from the City Planning Department.
2 A Planning clearance is not required for interior alterations. Refer all applicants who require a Planning clearance to the MIRACLE mile CDO Plan staff, whose contact information can be found at NOTE: Advise applicants that not all projects can be cleared the same day and that an appointment may be necessary.
