Hot and Cold Water plumbing fixture shall be providedwith an adequate supply of potable running water piped toit in an approved manner, so arranged as to flush and keepthe fixture in a clean and sanitary condition without dangerof backflow or cross-connection. Water closets and urinalsshall be flushed by means of an approved flush tank orflushometer : Listed fixtures that do not require water fortheir operation and are not connected to the water Hot Water Required. In occupancies whereplumbing fixtures are installed for private use, hot watershall be required for bathing, washing, laundry, cookingpurposes, dishwashing, and maintenance.
