Introduction: Air pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and the planet as a whole.
Effects and fate of Air Pollutants: There are Various Harmful Effects of the air Pollutants: i. Carbon monoxide (source- Automobile exhaust, photochemical reactions in the atmosphere, biological oxidation by marine organisms, etc.)- Affects the respiratory activity as haemoglobin has more affinity for CO than for oxygen.
