Baseline RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Page 1 RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Purpose To provide a procedure and associated guidelines to facilitate the MANAGEMENT of project people resources. Overview This Phase is used to establish the people MANAGEMENT structure for the project which identifies the specific project roles, the project responsibilities and the interaction between them for the life of the project. Determining and managing the people resources on projects can be complex as: ??The overall project responsibilities, both within and outside the project team, must be defined and agreed; ??The roles and responsibilities of each project team RESOURCE must be defined and agreed including the skills requirements and the identification of skills gaps and training needs; ??Third party resources such as contractors to provide specific knowledge and skills may need to be identified and contracted for; ?
