The work consists of furnishing, placing and compacting a SUBBASE COURSE inconformity with the lines, grades, thicknesses and typical sections shown on the plans, or as determinedby field conditions and ordered in writing by the Optional Types. Unless otherwise stated in the plans or in the proposal, select any of thethree (3) options as follows:10Option construction consisting of two (2) separate layers of Type 4 and Type 3 construction consisting of a single layer of Type 1 SUBBASE COURSE . Option construction consisting of a single layer of Type 2 SUBBASE MATERIALS Test and Control Methods. The Department will perform materials tests and qualitycontrol methods pertaining to the work of this section in conformance with the procedures contained in theappropriate Departmental publications which are current on the date of advertisement for bids.
