Hypodermoclysis (HDC) – Refers to the subcutaneous administration of fluid and electrolytes for the treatment and prevention of mild to moderate dehydration. For all other uses, the term subcutaneous therapy should be used. Insuflon™ – An indwelling subcutaneous catheter device used for frequent subcutaneous administration of medication.
