Lambda-cyhalothrin 549 LAMBDA-CYHALOTHRIN (146) First draft prepared by Mr. Christian Sieke, Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, Berlin, Germany EXPLANATION Lambda-cyhalothrin is being evaluated as a new active substance intended as a replacement for cyhalothrin. Lambda-cyhalothrin is an enriched isomeric form of the two biologically active diastereoisomeric pairs of isomers of cyhalothrin. It is mainly used for plant protection purposes as a non-systemic broad spectrum insecticide in a wide range of crops worldwide.
