2021-2022 PREVAILING Wage RATES - Southern Nevada Rural Region Page 1 2022 PREVAILING WAGE RATES SOUTHERN NEVADA RURAL COUNTIES (ESMERALDA, LINCOLN, AND NYE) DATE OF DETERMINATION: October 1, 2021 APPLICABLE FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS OVER $100,000 BID/AWARDED OCTOBER 1, 2021 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) section (9)(a), If the contract for a public work: (a) Is to be awarded pursuant to a competitive bidding process, the PREVAILING wages in effect at the time of the opening of the bids for a contract for a public work must be paid until the completion or termination of the contract or for the 36 months immediately following the date on which the bids were opened, whichever is earlier. For contracts not awarded pursuant to competitive bidding, please see NRS section (9)(b). However, if a project exceeds 36 months new wage RATES may apply pursuant to NRS section (9)(10).
