Displacement PUMPS canbe sub-classified as rotary or reciprocating PUMPS . In principle, any liquid can be handled by any of the pump designs. Where different pumpdesigns could be used, the centrifugal pump is generally the most economical followed byrotary and reciprocating PUMPS .
