ISO/IEC 2012 Consolidated ISO Supplement Procedures specific to ISO 131 Annex SL ( normative ) Proposals for management system standards General Whenever a proposal is made to prepare a new management system standard (MSS), or to revise an existing one, including sectoral applications of generic MSS, a justification study (JS) shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix 1 to this Annex SL. To the extent possible, the proposer shall endeavour to identify the full range of deliverables which will constitute the new or revised MSS family, and a JS shall be prepared for each of the deliverables.
