Appendix Page 1 Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM) The Honourable Mr Justice TANG Ching, Robert, SBS, JP Mr Justice TANG joined the Judiciary in 2004. Currently a Permanent Judge of the Court of Final Appeal, he has served in the Judiciary for over 14 years. Mr Justice TANG has chaired important committees within the Judiciary dealing with, for example, the terms and conditions of service of judges, the extension of the retirement age of judges and legal education. As his judgments show, Mr Justice TANG s contributions to the jurisprudence of Hong Kong has been significant.
