A Bonus Resource forSeeing Jesus in the Old TestamentLysa TerKeurst and Joel MuddamalleBefore We Get StartedHi friend,We are so excited to have you with us for the Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament study. Over the next several weeks, we re going to walk side by side with you to identify some of the places in the Bible that are full of Jesus presence but that we may have missed Before . As believers, we can often think about Jesus as only appearing in the New Testament. In modern day, we celebrate His birth as we study His life here on earth, and we remember His death, resurrection and ascension as major parts of our faith.
journey from Jerusalem to Emmaus was 7 miles? Consider this: It takes an average person 17 minutes to walk 1 mile. Yes, we know all you fitness buffs and runners could do it much faster, but just take a leisurely walk with the rest of us on this one! So a 17-minute mile, over 7 miles, would take about 119 minutes — or fewer than two hours.
