JOB PURPOSE. To plan, direct, co-ordinate and manage the efficient and effective delivery of health/medical and administrative support services at the hospital within the prevailing legal and statutory framework (Annexure A). KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS. 1. Ensure the effective and efficient overall management of the hospital in terms of relevant acts and delegations. (a) Financial Management * Ensure that the hospital's statutory responsibilities in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) are adhered to through: The maximisation of revenue. The collection of all income due to the hospital. The management of creditors/debtors. The management of irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
