Remove any portable fuel tank from the boat for refueling. Keep the portable fuel tank away from the battery or other potential spark sources. Refuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Avoid overfilling the fuel tank. After refueling, tighten the filler cap securely. If any fuel is spilled, make sure the area is dry before starting the engine.
