CANDIDATE GUIDELINEST hese CANDIDATE GUIDELINES will guide an applicant through the steps necessary tobecome licensed as a land surveyor in the state of Texas .**Definition of in Training (SIT): A person certified by the Texas Board ofProfessional Land Surveying to train under the direction of a designatedRegistered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the state of Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS): An individual licensed bythe Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying to practice land, boundary, orproperty surveying.
