Cardioplegia Circuit Products { RETROGRADE } RETROGRADE cannulae are designed to deliver Cardioplegia solutions to the heart via the coronary sinus in the reverse direction of normal blood flow ( RETROGRADE perfusion). We offer the RETROGRADE cannulae in pediatric and adult sizes. The pediatric cannulae are offered with silicone bodies, with or without a guidewire stylet, and a manual-inflate cuff. Adult models are offered with a silicone or PVC body, a solid or guidewire stylet with a variety of handle options, and an auto- or manual-inflate cuff. The purpose of the cuff is to occlude the opening of the coronary sinus, forcing Cardioplegia flow to the coronary vessel bed of the heart.
