Page 1 of 42 Sharing of Inter State Transmission Charges and losses Regulations, 2010 CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY commission NEW delhi Dated: 15th June 2010 NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under section 178 read with Part V of the ELECTRICITY Act, 2003 (36 of 2003), and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and after previous publication, the CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY commission hereby makes the following regulations: CHAPTER 1: PRELIMINARY 1. Short title, extent and commencement. (1) These regulations may be called the CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY commission (Sharing of Inter State Transmission Charges and losses ) Regulations, 2010. (2) These regulations shall apply to all Designated ISTS Customers, Inter State Transmission Licensees, NLDC, RLDC, SLDCs, and RPCs. (3) These regulations shall come into force from , and unless reviewed earlier or extended by the commission , shall remain in force for a period of 5 years from the date of commencement specified above.
