CHAPTER 10 TRAPS, INTERCEPTORS AND SEPARATORSSECTION CHAPTER shall govern the material andinstallation of traps, INTERCEPTORS and 1002 TRAP Fixture plumbing fixture shall be sepa-rately trapped by a liquid-seal trap, except as otherwise permit-ted by this code. The vertical distance from the fixture outlet tothe trap weir shall not exceed 24 inches (610 mm), and the hori-zontal distance shall not exceed 30 inches (610 mm) measuredfrom the centerline of the fixture outlet to the centerline of theinlet of the trap.
