Chapter 4-Quantitative Results and Discussion
Chapter 4-Quantitative Results and Discussion introduction In the previous Chapter , the research design used in this study was described in detail. This included both the quantitative data collection involving the two questionnaires: BALLI and PELLEM, and the qualitative data collection which entailed a semi-structured interview. For the Results section of this dissertation, the quantitative and qualitative Results will be presented separately, in Chapter Four and Chapter Five, respectively. This Chapter presents the Results of the BALLI and PELLEM questionnaires in order to answer the first three research questions. The first section of this Chapter will present the descriptive statistics and factor analysis Results of the BALLI questionnaire, thereby answering the first research question: What are the language learning beliefs of international students learning English at a local college in Kuala Lumpur?
