* This paper has been commissioned by LARCI to provide an overview of the personal, community and efficiency aspects of co-production in public services and adds an international perspective to the debate on co-production in the UK. 6 As Table 1 demonstrates, the specific approach which is taken to co-production may have important implications for the costs and staffing involved of public services.
