As a practicing clini-cian, I have consistently found Elevated total estrogenas part of an endocrine- immune derangement presentin many common diseases of dogs and cats. Ninetypercent of these cases involve spayed females andneutered or intact males, so the Elevated estrogen can-not be attributed to ovarian activity.
