Dayton High-Intensity Heaters® Description Dayton high-intensity heaters become highly efficient generators of infrared radiation by heating a ceramic refractory material to incandescence. The principal operation is to pass a gas-air mixture through a perforated ceramic refractory, and ignite it on the refractory surface.
