May feel overwhelming to teachers unless naturally integrated into daily life of classroom Children are still learning during Assessment times Standardized test data should inform Authentic Assessment data and visa versa Assessment CONTINUUM.

Quality authentic assessments emphasize both process and product. A compilation of multidimensional, varied assessments provide a more accurate and valid measure of student learning than a singular assessment.
