Most of these employees will be retiring in the next five to ten years that is over 500,000 employees. Not only will the industry need to replace these workers, but will need to hire even more due to technological advances and demand. That means more power plant construction, more fuel sources being needed, more infrastructure being created and more research to find reliable and efficient renewable energy sources.
