REGISTRATION is NOT required for: 1. Sailboats less than 12 ft. in length with no mechanical propulsion; 2. Canoes, kayaks, rowboats and rubber rafts that have no mechanical propulsion; and 3. Boats operated exclusively on private ponds or lakes. All required documentation must be submitted within 60 days of APPLICATION . After 60 days new APPLICATION and payment required.
