It is a living document that will be periodically Framework utilizes and builds upon conceptualization, research, and content developed in 2017 to produce the Middle East and North Africa Conceptual and Programmatic Framework (MENA-CPF). The MENA-CPF was developed within the scope of the Life Skills and Citizenship Education (LSCE) initiative ( ). The ongoing LSCE Initiative is led by the United Nations Children s Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALESCO), ministries of education and other national institutions responsible for education across the MENA countries.
