GUIDE TO EMPLOYMENT LEGISLATION This booklet has been prepared by the EMPLOYMENT and Equality Law Committee as a general reference GUIDE for practitioners. It is a summary of relevant legislative provisions and practitioners should ensure that they are familiar with changes to LEGISLATION . Terms of Employment (Information) Acts, 1994 - 2012 . This legislation requires employers to provide a written statement to employees setting out certain basic terms of employment. The Act applies to any person working under a contract of employment or apprenticeship or employed through an employment agency or in the service of the State.
