Guide to Passing Primary FRCA Dr James Shorthouse Updated February 2014 Introduction The FRCA Primary examination is a daunting prospect to both the postgraduate exam newcomer and the seasoned campaigner. The sheer breadth and depth of knowledge required over a wide range of specialties, combined with a punishing exam schedule, can make it seem an impossible task. Passing the exam requires a combination of preparation, hard work and a little bit of luck on the day.
