(U) AUTHORITY: The National Security Act of 1947, as amended, the INTELLIGENCE Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (IRTPA); Executive Order 12333, as amended, and other applicable provisions of law. B. 0 PURPOSE: 1. (U) This INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY (IC) DIRECTIVE establishes the IC Analytic standards that govern the production and evaluation of national INTELLIGENCE analysis. It also delineates the associated authorities and responsibilities of the Office of Analytic Integrity and standards (AIS) under the Deputy Director of National INTELLIGENCE for Analysis (DDWA).
