Pharmacists aremore likely to be employees than owners; to work for large organizations, such as hos-pitals, chain pharmacies, and managed-care pharmacies, than in small, independentlyowned pharmacies; and to have clinically oriented, patient care responsibilities ratherthan purely distributive duties.
