Davis, University of Georgia, Griffin Campus. Introduction Repeated measures refer to measurements taken on the same experimental unit over time or in space. Measurements taken over time often come from growth or efficacy experiments where subjects receive a treatment and their response is monitored over time. Subjects are experimental units and can be animals, plots of land or laboratory samples, for example. Repeated measures can also be taken in spatial sequence, such as root densities at increasing soil depths or measurements along an animals spine.
