TARIFF SCHEDULE FOR THE 2017/2018 FINANCIAL YEAR Approved 2017/2018 Tariffs Revision Date: 22 May 2017 Page 2 CHARGES FOR SANITARY AND REFUSE (SOLID WASTES) REMOVAL The City of MBOMBELA hereby gives notice in terms of Section 75A of the LOCAL Government Municipal Systems Act, 32 of 2000 (as amended), that the following tariffs, fees and charges applicable to the Sanitary and Refuse Removal By-laws, have been determined and accepted by Council with a unanimous decision under Item A(2) during a Special Council meeting held on 31 May 2017. The determinations shall come into effect on 1 July 2017. DEFINITIONS Removal" means the removal as indicated per residential, business, commercial or industrial property; "Liner" means plastic refuse bag not exceeding 0,1m ; Owner means a person as defined in the Municipal Property Rates Act, Act 6 of 2004 and the LOCAL Government Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000; Property means immovable property as defined in the LOCAL Government Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000 and the Municipal Property Rates Act, Act 6 of 2004.
