These include primary disorders such as anemia, leukemia, polycythemia, thrombocytosis and thrombocytopenia. Many other conditions secondarily affect the Blood or bone marrow, including reaction to inflammation and infections, coagulopathies, neoplasms and exposure to toxic substances.
