PLAYOFF POLICY In all Championships, should two or more professionals or amateurs tie for the Championship, a sudden-death playoff will ensue unless otherwise stated. For qualifying events, if there are two or more competitors tied for the (a) championship, (b) final qualifying position(s), and (c) order of alternate positions, a sudden-death playoff will ensue. Details such as the playoff starting time, starting hole and playoff procedures will be announced as soon as possible after the final scores have been returned. It is the competitor s responsibility to be ready to play at that announced time. If, within the alternate playoff, a winner is determined, the other competitors must continue to play to determine addi-tional alternate positions (if needed).
