1 Grade 5 MID-YEAR STUDY GuideAnswersYour child will take the Grade 5 MID-YEAR Assessment during class on February 6thand 7th, 2013. Thisassessment will be composed of a total of 30 problems given over two days. Students will complete 15problems on Wednesday, February 6thand another 15 problems on Thursday, February 7th. The entire MID-YEAR Assessment will only count as onequizgrade and isnot a factor in math placement for next purpose of this assessment is to give formative information on each student s progress, provide studentsthe opportunity to review concepts since the beginning of the year , and to provide children with theexperience of a cumulative STUDY GUIDE is not intended to be a comprehensive packet of all problems that students have done sincethe beginning of the year .
