General Information a. The purpose of the full time SUPPORT (FTS) PROGRAM is to train and administer the Navy Reserve. It is open to both male and female personnel. Enlisted FTS personnel serve in demanding billets, both at sea and ashore, providing the SUPPORT necessary to prepare Navy reservists to conduct prompt and sustained operations in SUPPORT of United States national interests. Enlisted FTS personnel may be assigned to the following: (1) Operational units ( , ships, maritime expeditionary security forces, aviation squadrons, etc.)
