Sample Homework Record Forms .. 77 References .. 80 3 INTRODUCTION MINDFULNESS and ACCEPTANCE-BASED GROUP Therapy (MAGT) for Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is based on acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT: Hayes et al 1999). Some of the MINDFULNESS exercises included in the protocol were adapted from MINDFULNESS - based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT: Segal et al 2002), which is based in part on MINDFULNESS - based stress reduction ( mbsr : Kabat-Zinn 1990).
