Two of those programs are Microsoft Excel and Minitab 16, these are typically used by the university and in industry for storing data and analyzing it. These programs allow the user to manage, evaluate, calculate, graph, and test all data types. The common user for data collection and analyzing software is very broad considering many companies, businesses, schools, and individual users are required to analyze a data set at times. This white paper presents the results of a usability test for both Microsoft Excel and Minitab 16. These tests will determine the strengths and weaknesses of both programs.
