Practical data Analysis ( minitab ) January 26 - 27, 2015 Oregon Bioscience Association Overview: All too often, we make important business decisions based on intuition, opinion, or assumptions. In many cases the data needed to support or contradict such decisions exists, but no one in the organization knows how to analyze the data . data often contains information that is not available from any other source. data Analysis is required to extract this information. This 16 hour course provides the statistical tools needed for the most common types of data Analysis that apply to all organizations in all business sectors. Throughout the course participants practice these methodologies in class using minitab statistical software . How You Will Benefit: By the end of the course, you will be able to: Import data sets into minitab , export minitab worksheets to other programs. Use statistical graphics to display data and data Analysis results.
Prerequisites: A laptop computer loaded with Minitab software is required for this course. The instructor will be using Minitab 16, but other recent revisions may also be used.
