The TRIAC consists of two inverse parallel connectedmonolithic SCRs. These three semiconductors devices areassembled in a six pin 300 mil dual in-line input sensitivity is achieved by using an emitter followerphototransistor and a cascaded SCR predriver resulting in anLED trigger current of less than mA (DC).
