They may or may not be furthered processed for use in concrete and distribute pozzolanic and/or cementitious reactions. Pozzolan A material that possesses little or no cementitious value, but is capable of reacting chemically with calcium hydroxide at ordinary temperatures to form compounds with cementitious properties.
