peer Learning Country ReportGermanyPRIVATE SECTOR peer Learning Country Report : GERMANY OECD 20162 Germany sees private sector engagement as an important way to leverage the strengths and potential of the private sector to realise development outcomes. Its objectives for private sector engagement include the mobilisation of private capital and expertise, improved efficiency in public service delivery in partner countries, promotion of voluntary private sector commitments that supplement government regulations, improved development outcomes with private contributions, and supporting German and other companies especially small and medium-sized enterprises in developing markets.
