DoD PHYSICAL SECURITY PROGRAM April 9, 2007 Incorporating Change 1, May 27, 2009 UNDER SECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR INTELLIGENCE (USD(I)) DoD , April 9, 2007 FOREWORD This Regulation is issued under the authority of DoD Instruction , SECURITY of DoD Installations and Resources, December 10, 2005. It implements the policies and minimum standards for the PHYSICAL SECURITY of DoD installations and resources. DoD , PHYSICAL SECURITY PROGRAM , May 1991, is hereby canceled. This Regulation applies to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities in the Department of Defense (hereafter referred to collectively as the DoD Components ).
