Looking into this, I discovered there are many things a captain, an officer, or even a bosun, AB or OS has to keep in mind when rigging the LADDER . The usability of the documentation in place regarding this matter is not very good. What can be found online are tales of colleagues showing the accidents, the mishaps and the errors they see on a daily basis.
