Machine bolts shall not be used except as jackscrews and when bolting Cast Iron, Bronze, Ductile Iron, PVC, or Fiberglass flanges. Jackscrews shall be threaded full length. The length shall be measured . from . the bearing surface of the head and shall include the end point. Stud bolts shall be threaded full length.
