Planning behavioural activation Make a list of all the activities you are putting off, avoiding, struggling with or which you would like to do. For each activity decide how difficult you think it will be to do, and write it in a table below. Tick whether it is a routine, fun or necessary activity; for this technique to work it is really important to get a good mix of all activities. Routine activities are things that need to be done for life to be manageable. Cleaning the house, cooking dinners, etc Fun things, seeing friends, exercising or hobbies. Some people find that fun activities have become routine ( spending time with family).
