1. POSITION : Community Support Worker 2. PROGRAM/SERVICE: Aged & Disability Services 3. POSITION PURPOSE: CatholicCare is the welfare ministry of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Wollongong. Community Support Workers will be directed by our clients to provide active support that facilitates opportunities for learning and skill development, building relationships and social networks, accessing community groups and services, in accordance with CatholicCare s policy and procedures, industry standards, legislation and funding body guidelines. Our clients will have control over how much input they have into their service, and the level of involvement we have in their lives. The service may be made up of personal care, respite, assistance with daily living activities and companionship to enable clients to live safe and satisfying lives in the environment of their own homes.
