Peterson Over the many years of the so-called War on Terror we have often seen pictures of military personnel, wearing camouflage and bearing backpacks, carrying their weapons to board planes for their deployment. But there is another kind of war that has been raging much longer than any other. It is largely silent, but all the more deadly. It is the war for our hearts, mind and souls. On one side is goodness and God. On the other is sin and Satan. None of us are volunteers in this fight, because we have been forced into it by our first parents' original disobedience.
