R158 - regulation pertaining to control of Private hospitals
5 November 1996 R158 THE regulation pertaining to control of Private hospitals , should consist of three parts:- 1. LICENCING control :- - Describing how Private hospitals will be controlled, once the policy has been finalised. - Details should be given as to application procedures, responsibilities of developers and hospital managers, inspection, re-inspection, refusal of licenses, revoking of licenses, etc. - We believe that this part of the document should be compiled by the Department of Health. 2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: PHYSICAL FACILITIES:- - This document has been compiled by a technical committee (see list). - This document must be revised on an on-going basis, at least annually.
